City of Novi Going Green!

In 2009 the City of Novi was awarded over $500,000 in federal stimulus funds for energy efficiency projects.

Two years and six projects later, the community is reducing its energy costs and creating jobs.

Welcome to the Novi Energy Efficiency Project Showcase!

The City of Novi began recognizing the importance of sustainability and energy efficiency in 2007 by adopting the goal that Novi will "Be a community that values natural areas and natural features." Since then the City of Novi has implemented energy efficiency retrofits in municipal buildings and developed an energy program to maximize energy efficiency opportunities community-wide.
